What to bring

We will be out in the elements, so make sure to check your fishing charter packing list and bring plenty of sunscreen and/or sun-protective clothing. Remember, please avoid spray-on sunscreen or products with bronzers. Additionally, ensure you have your fishing license information handy and consider any other essential items to bring for your fishing trip.

Sunglasses are very beneficial not only for protecting your eyes but also for enhancing your ability to see fish and spot popping corks. When preparing your fishing charter packing list, we specifically recommend including polarized sunglasses, as they can significantly improve your visibility on the water.

When preparing your fishing charter packing list, don’t forget essential items like a ball cap, a brimmed hat, or a visor to protect yourself from the sun.

Food is not included on the fishing charter, so make sure to bring something to snack on, such as sandwiches, chips, or beef jerky. An ice chest will be provided for anything that needs to be kept cold.

Bottled water will be provided for your convenience. If you'd like to enjoy beverages such as alcoholic drinks, sports drinks, or sodas, please bring those along as well. An ice chest will be available for you to keep your drinks cool.

An ice chest will be provided on board, but as part of your fishing charter packing list, you will also need an ice chest to bring home your cleaned and packaged catch! 

You will need to obtain fishing license information before you embark on your trip. If you do not currently hold a Louisiana basic and saltwater license, you can easily purchase a charter passenger license online for $20. Additionally, make sure to check your fishing charter packing list and include all the essential items to bring for your fishing trip.
